How can streets be safer? How can we improve the reliability of travel time to work, particularly as we grow? How can we expand travel options so more people can walk, bike, or take transit? How do we plan for a future with autonomous vehicles and other new transportation technology? We need your help shaping the City’s vision and action plan to answer these questions and more. The Sarasota City Commission adopted the Sarasota in Motion Vision on September 16, 2019:

Sarasota is a safe and active community with diverse transportation choices. The transportation investments are the result of community values and the outcome is a more resilient, people-oriented City.
